I’m in love with Bosawas and the Macizo de Peñas Blancas, a slice of paradise that we must protect. Peñas Blancas has suffered from horrible deforestation, but with the help of the Centro de Entendimiento con la Naturaleza (CEN) the forest is growing back. It’s a healing place with water that flows through the forest, water that is pure, water that is free and accesible to those around it…but only to those that are close, a few kilometers down the road, the clear energized water turns dark with the residue of the local farms and ranches.
